It’s been, a fair long journey

Getting here and looking back

A journey fraught with

Tears, fears, and laughter

Still, we stay, intact!

You've walked

So far along the way

With me my love

And I thank you,

Truly thank you

WE DID PROMISE

I won’t forget to remember

We vowed to grow old together!

To plough on and face life forever

Through, calm or stormy weather

Then, in passing a mirror today

All my illusions swiftly melted away

And to be candid, I really must say

I tuned in perplexed despair to ponder

If some practical joker was at play!

For there I saw a stranger

Looking back, in a very curious way
