Timeless Tangled Poem By Helen Constantine and No Time for Life By H.Constantine
Timeless Tangled
Poem
By
Helen Constantine
Timeless tangled memories
Drifting through my mind
Arduously struggling to find
Some other life and time
Holding hidden answers
Left smothering behind

No Time For Life
Written
By
Helen Constantine
No time for life, no time for living
No time for dreams, no time for giving
No time to hear, the gentle breezes
Whispering through, the sinuous leaves
Or birds gaily nesting, in the trees
No time to watch the snowdrops fall
No time to hear, the plaintive call
From a voice, you've known so well
That’s often left, to quickly dispel
To where fate, may someday tell

So Far My Love & We Did Promise Poem by Helen Constantine
SO FAR, MY LOVE
Written
By
Helen Constantine
It’s been, a fair long journey
Getting here and looking back
A journey fraught with
Tears, fears, and laughter
Still, we stay, intact!
You've walked
So far along the way
With me my love
And I thank you,
Truly thank you

WE DID PROMISE
Written
By
Helen Constantine
I won’t forget to remember
We vowed to grow old together!
To plough on and face life forever
Through, calm or stormy weather
Then, in passing a mirror today
All my illusions swiftly melted away
And to be candid, I really must say
I tuned in perplexed despair to ponder
If some practical joker was at play!
For there I saw a stranger
Looking back, in a very curious way

How little we know & Symbols By H. Constantine
How many paths must one soul take
Before earth's binding shackles, shatter or break
How many paths must we take
How well do we listen, if by chance we hear
Sacred sounds slithering through the sinuous air
How well do we listen, if ever we hear

Dogged dogma and conceit
Impious chiefs and clerics
Sanctimoniously teach and preach
Toxic hate and bitter brutal bigotry
To the vulnerable and naive
Who blindly and readily believe
That which they rarely perceive
For a Dear little man Daniel Pelka
Written
By
Helen Constantine
For a dear little man Daniel Pelka
No moments of happiness
Dwelt, in your short lived life
You only knew ruthless madness?
Ceaseless cruel sadness and strife
I read in your eyes, the need
For a love, you never ever knew
From the one who it’s said, bore you?
Still, your heart stayed pure and true
Whilst you were being robbed of
Your right to live, life through!
Why was fate so unkind?
To a fragile faultless soul!
Who could harm?
What on earth did you do
To merit an end that’s beyond belief
Why did no one see your need and grief?
The truth is; God knows, we failed a tiny lad
Who often only found, relief in sleep?
I ‘m sure you never knew
Your days were numbered few
Or those you loved and trusted
Would take away so soon
The precious gift of life, from you
You’re now in the arms of eternal peace
And the pain you bore to the very last
Is now, in the well-forgotten past

MAMA & WE SAUNTERED By Helen Constantine
Mama
WORDS AND MUSIC
WORDS AND MUSIC
By
HELEN CONSTANTINE
Mama, how I wish, I had said
Mama, the words I hid, instead
Mama, I’m sure you understood
Much more, than I thought you often could
Mama, it’s too soon to say, goodbye
Mama, my heart and I still cry

WE SAUNTERED
Words Written
By
Helen Constantine
Languidly we sauntered
By the feral leafy banks
Of the gently flowing stream
Densely sheltered by
Trailing willow trees
There we sat and lazed
On earth verdant bed
Without concern or dread
In our hearts, or head

There is nothing & I know you
THERE IS NOTHING
Written
By
Helen Constantine
There is nothing we can do
About the parting of the waves
The countless bodies
Lying in ice-cold graves
There is nothing we can do
About the barren drifting sand
That no longer touches
The sea or fertile land
Where it all began

Hush, oh hush Written by Helen Constantine
Hush, oh hush
WRITTEN
BY
HELEN
CONSTANTINE
Hush, let
peaceful mystic tones
Lull your weary
head
To perfect rest
Hush, let lofty calming
silence
Tenderly enfold
and hold you
Far from futile
stress

THE LITTLE MAN By Helen Constantine
The little man
Written
By
Helen Constantine
By
Helen Constantine
The little man we love so well
Has brought more joy than
We'll willingly, easily tell
Your bright quizzical eyes
And beguiling roguish smile
Made you a lovable work of art
Right from the very start
We worry at your slightest sniffle
Even more, when you fall
We try to be near, to always hear
Your each and every cry and call
Little man, well after
You’re safely, tucked up in bed
We fear the weight, you’ve yet
To carry, on your trusting head
Still, we pray, as you ramble along
Life’s winding dubious path
You’ll always be true to both
Your head and wee dear heart
Little man, we hope you’ll grow
Cleaver, humble, healthy and strong
Wisely mindful of, right from wrong
Forever loyal, honest and true
In all you think, say and do
You’re new to a world
That’s full of doubt, pitfalls, and fear
But guess what, little man
We’re so very thankful and happy
That you’re at long last, finally here!

TO YOU I GIVE Words By Helen Constantine
TO YOU, I GIVE
Lyrics Written
By
Helen Constantine
To you I give my heart my all
Yes, I’ll hear your every call
I know my love, this love
Was meant to be
For you and me
All the cares of life we’ll share
As we go from year to year
I know my love, this love
Was meant to be
For you and me
For you and me

SOME WOUNDS, SOME SCARS Words By Helen Constantine
Some wounds, some scars
Words and music
By
Helen Constantine
Some wounds, some scars
Never ever heal
Sometimes, some hearts,
Simply can’t reveal
The hurt, the pain
That haunts each memory
Some wounds, some scars,
Just refuse to heal

Easter 2010 - 2011 Written By Helen Constantine
WRITTEN
BY
HELEN CONSTANTINE
EASTER 2010 - 2011
Pontius Pilate stood, solemnly between
Yahoshua, son of God, Lord of Salvation
And Barabbas, son of Abbas
Son of man, son of the father!
Troubled by his wife's dreams
In doubt and fear
Pilate ascended the Bema,
Pretending he could not hear

THE PROCESSION WORDS By Helen Constantine
The procession
Written
By
Helen Constantine
On the wings of dreams, I take off in flight
To distant realms, night after night
Treading vague and forbidden places
Where dwell, many without form or faces
Then thankfully, in time, I’m lead
Through the haze of space and age
To the safety of my bed
By the angels Osho and Reno

YOU CALLED BY HELEN CONSTANTINE
You called
Words
By
Helen Constantine
You called me up the other night
And to be fair, it wasn’t right
But then, who cares!
You spoke of all that you’ve been through
You wanted me to pity you
Oh well, who cares?

Few Can Quantify By Helen Constantine

Few Can Quantify
Poem Written
By
Helen Constantine
Few can quantify, decipher or perceive
The many murky enclaves and dark forces
Hidden deep within, privileged and high places
Devoid of ethics or true faces
Who are these mysterious dark-angels?
Of the anti-Christ
Disguised behind, numerous facades
Of deception, cruelty, and lies

A WONDROUS DREAM By Helen Constantine
A wondrous dream
Poem Written
By
Helen Constantine
How wondrous was my dream, last night
When from fragrant clouds, came into sight
A heavenly form shrouded in, luminous light
That shone from the deepest depth within
It looked at me, incurious caring delight
As it calmly strode, close to my side
My heart stood still, in fervent fright

The Election By Helen Constantine
The Election
By
Helen Constantine
Tories had better call upon, the God’s to sway
Fortune to graciously, smile their way
So that May’s wager will win the day
For after outfoxing the leading pack
She ran with the hounds
Who was about to attack

Dark Days
By
Helen Constantine
In these dark days and troubled times
Let faith contain and sustain
The strain and constant drain
Of sorrows pain
Let these dark and troubled times
Pass o’er land and sea
Let them flee and fly far from
You and me

WHY DID ONE SEED Written By Helen Constantine
Why did one seed
Written
By
Helen Constantine
Why did one seed, amongst so many
Choose to take root and not just any
Why does the wheel of fate
Open its revolving gate
That’s eternally in time,
Never too early or late
In making the choices
It chooses to take
Without a moment pause
Or breath-taking break

An Easter Thought By Helen Constantine
An Easter Thought
By
Helen Constantine
Judas likened to Lucifer
Sat to the right and left
Of the father, son and Holy Ghost
It then came to pass that
They both readily pulled the trigger
Of a noxious smoking gun
Judas likened to Lucifer
Rose from the core, of a chosen few
Yet, their trail of deception
Brought death and destruction
To those who knew well
Both hearts were bitterly untrue

I have walked

Transcend the highest summit and shunned
The lowest level

Finding neither peace nor rest

I have walked by Helen Constantine
I have walked
By
Helen Constantine
I’ve walked with angels and battled with the devil
Transcend the highest summit and shunned
The lowest level
While striving for basic aptness
Finding neither peace nor rest
In my ardent need and avid quest
For wise and worldly wisdom
From those who proudly profess
To know, somewhat better
Yet often less, at their very best!
Nonetheless, I’ve trudged along
Life’s highways and byways
Only to find, at the end my journey
That meaning and momentum
Fades fast, into another
Weary futile day
Now in cautious dispensation
I no longer seek
Gratuitous accrued information
Of records sought here and there
Amassing doubt and fear
Instead, I turn, to the inner core
As I meander happily home
Where I strive, to simplify
The seven colours of the rainbow
Betwixt and between pots of gold
That’s neither here nor there
Still, I walk with angels and battle
With the devil
Transcend the highest summit
And shun the lowest level
Knowing time will surpass
The future and alas, the past

The Undisclosed by Helen Constantine
The Undisclosed
By
Helen Constantine
Veiled deep, in many thoughts and hearts
Lie hopeful dreams, burning flames
Waning schemes and fading sparks
To be the things, that others are
Or rise above glittering hopes
Of glowing, growing goals
That often proves a tad too far!

No hurt, No pain... by Helen Constantine
No hurt, no pain
By
Helen Constantine
No hurt, no pain, nor will of fate
Can bring my heart, to ever hate
No, darken moon nor starless night
Can cast its gloom, upon my inner light
No thoughtless word, nor heartless deed
Can make me sow, an unworthy seed

Mama, I’m sure you understood
Much more, than I thought you often could.
Mama, it’s too soon to say, goodbye.
Mama, it’s too soon to say, goodbye.
Mama, my heart and I still cry
Thank you, mama, for all the love you gave
Thank you, mama, for all the love you gave
Mama, so tiny yet so brave,
No one can ever take your place
Mama, through those hard weary years,
Mama, through those hard weary years,
Mama, you hid your tears and fears.
And now mama, your light still guide my way
And now mama, your light still guide my way
Mama, no words can ever say.
Just how you’re missed from day to day.
Mama how I wish I had said
Mama how I wish I had said
Mama the words
I hid instead

So many How many
So Many, How Many
By
Helen Constantine
So many words that are left unsaid
So many thoughts, running through
My aching, breaking heart
And head
So many roads, we could have walked
How many times, I’ve wished
We’d found at times, more time
To simply talk

Sheltered Shame by Helen Constantine
Sheltered shame
By
Helen Constantine
On erratic rounds through doors, corridors
And hidden dark corners
She creeps about, by day and by night
Peeping and listening, well out of sight
Stalking her victims, who recoil in fear and fright?
Or in due course, somehow take flight.
Cloaked in her perfectly woven facade
She's forever here, there and everywhere
Conducting some so-called kindness
That's neither here nor there
And clearly insincere
